Arkansas vs. Duke, April 4, 1994 — Charlotte, North Carolina. On April 4th, 1994, the NCAA National Championship game was battled out in Charlotte Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina. A match-up of the first seeded Arkansas Razorbacks and the two seeded Duke Blue Devils, this title game lived up to the hype as the Razorbacks squeaked past the Blue Devils, 76-72, to claim their first national championship in school history. The Duke Blue Devils were making there 7th title game appearance and were playing in front of what was virtually a home crowd, creating very difficult odds for the Arkansas Razorbacks to overcome. However, with strong leadership from Head Coach Nolan Richardson and a Most Outstanding Player performance from Corliss Williamson, the Razorbacks were heavily armed and ready to battle the Blue Devils for their shot at the national title. Relive the 1994 NCAA National Championship game as the Arkansas Razorbacks take on the Duke Blue Devils for their shot at Arkansas’s first national championship. Approximately 180 minutes.
