The inaugural game at Yankee Stadium was played on April 18, 1923 with an attendance of 74,200. Babe Ruth christened the new stadium with a 3 run homerun in the 3rd inning as the Yankees went on to beat the Boston Red Sox 4-1. Own a piece of history with this limited edition (1923) collectible. The three 8x10 photos are beautifully matted in Yankee pinstripes and engraved with a descriptive plate. The unique collectible comes with a piece of game-used baseball from a Yankees Major League baseball season. Measures 23"x26.5"x1"
