David Ortiz ended the ALDS in Game 3 against the Angels. He virtually knocked the Yankees into history by slugging balls over the Monster, the short fence in right, or dumping one into center. And nothing changed once the World Series came to the Fens, when Big Papi, as Bostonians refer to him, batted .308 with a home run, a double and four RBI's. When the Series shifted to St. Louis, Ortiz was put at first base to keep his big bat in the lineup.
