He carded 286 for the tournament, with Bobby Cruikshank and T. Phil Perkies tied for second with 289. This photo taken at the Fresh Meadow Country Club, Flushing, Long Island, shows Gene with George Von Elm (left) on the way to the 16th green during the final round. The professional golfer then signs an affidavit certifying the authenticity of the item, as well as the number of pieces actually signed. A tamper-resistant, hologram is affixed to the finished product. A Certificate of Authenticity is then issued which bears its own unique identification number.
