Monte Irvin played out most of his Hall of Fame career in the Negro Leagues. However, he played an instrumental role in helping the New York Giants win 2 pennants during his eight seasons. His best year in the majors was 1951, when he hit .312, hit 24 home runs, drove in a league leading 121 runs, and scored 94 runs. The B/W 8x10 photo is personally hand signed by Monte Irvin with the inscription HOF '73.
