The USFL holds a special place in American football history and the New Jersey Generals are a central part of the legacy. In 1983, the Generals brought in Heisman Trophy running back Herschel Walker, who rushed for 1,812 yards and 17 touchdowns that season. The following year, Donald Trump purchased the Generals and signed quarterback/1980 NFL MVP Brian Sipe. The Generals finished 14-4 in 1984 with Walker and his backfield mate, Maurice Carthon, both rushing for 1,000-plus yards. Trump continued to lure high-profile players to his team as 1985 brought another Heisman Trophy winner to New Jersey in Doug Flutie. This New Jersey Generals Ticket Sheet Frame celebrates all things USFL. It represents a unique time in American football history including the efforts of Trump, Flutie, and Walker who set the pro-football rushing record with 2,411 yards during the 1985 season. Double matted in team colors and professionally framed with black metal molding for a boardroom-quality presentation. Overall size 11"(H) x 18"(W).
