  • Dear Sirs,
    > My wife and I are facing a huge turning point in our lives and are looking for
some assistance. We have a tri-level home in Stratford NJ which we are soon
going to have to give up due to overwhelming medical bills, loss of both our
jobs due to illness and a bankruptcy. The entire lower level of our home is not
only decorated with a fifty year collection of sports memorabilia but I would
say that my collection, started when I was in third grade and kept up in this
same home over the past sixty years, is rivaled only by Cooperstown’s Baseball
Hall Of Fame (no joke, I’ve been told this by some major auction houses in the past). I’ve been a lifelong Philadelphia Sports Fan so the majority of
the items are from the Phillies, Eagles, 76ers and Flyers. I’ve also
concentrated on collecting certain favorite players since my youth which include
Ted Williams, Wilt Chamberlain, Mickey Mantle, Carl
Yastrzemski , etc. The book value of the entire collection is well over
$1,000,000 with many items dating back to the early 1900s. I have
    > been in contact with the Phillies front office about selling to them and I
have some interest but I’d prefer to sell to someone local who I can trust so that
I can sell the collection in it’s entirety, not just the Phillies stuff. I’d be
more than happy to have your representative come to the house at their
convenience to walk through with me or narrarate a video myself although I’d prefer the latter.
    > If I’m made a reasonable offer, I’m ready to sell immediately. I’m even fine with piecing out the collection if I meet the right person.
    > May God richly bless you!
    > Anthony Perry
