Floyd has a long list of accomplishments, including victories at the Masters in 1976, the 1986 U.S. Open, the 1969 and 1982 PGA Championships, and the Players Championship, in 1981. Floyd was on eight Ryder Cup teams including being Captain of the 1989 team. In 1992, by winning the Doral Ryder Open and the GTE North Classic, Floyd became the first player to win on the PGA TOUR and the SENIOR PGA TOUR in the same year.
