Walter Payton is considered by many to be the greatest player to ever don pads. He was quiet, humble, and generous off the field, but a relentless, hard-nosed competitor on it. Payton's style of play was distinctive and memorable. At 5'-10'', Payton wasn't a large player, nor was he a ''breakaway'' runner, but at a concrete-like 200 pounds, Payton's forte was power and quickness. Upon his retirement, Payton held numerous NFL records including most rushing yards in a career (16,726) and most rushing yards in a game (275). His #34 jersey will never again be worn by another Chicago Bear. “Sweetness” was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1993. The 16x20 photo is double matted in team colors and framed in a black wooden frame. Officially licensed by the National Football League.
